Lonnie R. Ouellette, M.A./M.Ed./LABA

LRO Family Consulting was founded by Lonnie R. Ouellette. Previously, Lonnie provided services under the name of LRO Behavioral Consulting, LLC. The “name change” occurred when she realized that most of her work is with parents of children who were facing difficulties in the home and school settings. With 30 plus years of experience working in special education and school settings as an administrator, clinician and consultant, most of her work began to focus more on the needs of children within the context of the family and how effective teaching and modeling of prosocial behavior begins and is reinforced at home. Her earlier work as a college instructor in Early Childhood Education has contributed greatly to her knowledge, expertise and experience working with young children, their families and teachers. Lonnie holds a Massachusetts license as a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) and practices as a Behavior/Parent Education Specialist providing consultation services to schools and families. She graduated from Rivier University with Masters Degrees in Counseling Psychotherapy and Counselor Education. She later pursued her graduate certificate program in Behavioral Interventions for Autism.
